This was a great place to stay. Quick walk to almost everything including Giant grocery store and the Silver Spring Metro Station. Also close (Walkable) to all the downtown restaurants and Whole Foods. The unit is very spacious and has everything you need to cook, do laundry, etc. Amenities are plentiful. Much better value than the hotels nearby. Easy to get in the unit as the instructions were very well written. I will definitely look here first on my next trip!

This apartment was overall good, but there were some issues. I’m rating it as 4 stars instead of 3 because I didn’t communicate those issues while I was there so I didn’t give them a chance to solve them. They were very communicative and asked me a few times if I needed anything. Issues: main bathroom’s rugs were disgustingly filthy and stained. It’s 100% better to have no rugs at all. The main bedroom’s linens were all “silky” and the fabric was snagged everywhere and the sheets had stains. We chose to sleep on the living room to avoid them. Also, I couldn’t find any extra sheets, they only give you the bottom sheet and the comforter. The other bedroom’s bed was great and the bathroom was good, too (normal sheets, decent rugs). Temperature was tricky, we lowered it before going to bed but woke up to it significantly higher. The apartment itself was good, the view was great and it has great amenities. It’s like a 10-15 min walk to the metro station. And yes, the trains are loud!

A lot of train noise, as 6 rail tracks surround the building – rail/metro day & night. The condo was clean, beds were great. No supplies in kitchen. Olamide was very warm and responsive, which we really appreciated. Precise address not given until 4 hours before check-in. This meant we were not aware until just before check-in that the condo was situated in the middle of train tracks – no opportunity to cancel booking due to noise, plus no warning of the ongoing train noise in the listing. Check in was very challenging. There were a lot of emoji-laden external links to daytime photos of the complex check-in. Our check in was in the dark at 6:30pm. Place was extremely hard to find at the rear side of a building with a bar/club called “Veridian”, down a small dark alley way that was not in the directions. To then go stumbling about in the dark, with nothing seeming to match the photos, was stressful and scary. Decent condo, nice host. Made it work w the noise but wouldn’t stay again.
